 is PROUDLY located in the United States of America (USA) at: 20428 36th Ave N W Stanwood, Wa 98292. We are in the North West Corner of Snohomish County. We are about a one hour drive, north of the Greater Seattle Area.
 
     

If you are within about a 3 hour drive,

  I suggest you make the drive out to my home so you can "Pick Up Your Puppy." This may take a whole day of driving but, it will give you the opportunity to meet your puppy before your purchase. You will also get to meet both parents as well as any siblings who are still here at Underfoot Kennels. You will also get to meet ME and I will get to meet YOU so we can discuss any questions you may have, and I can show you first hand, anything you want to know about my puppies! There is no fee from me if you chose to pick up your puppy at my house. I like this option best.

If you are not able to make the drive,

  I can sometimes be available for a "Hand Delivery" for a fee to a location within a 3 hour drive of my home. My price for this delivery service will start at $100 and then I will add .50 cents per mile for anything over 50 miles. Please keep in mind . . . If I have brand new babies or a mother who is about to deliver her puppies, I will not be available for a "Hand Delivery" until the puppies are stable and the mother is doing well with her new babies.

If you are more than 3 hours away,

  and less than 6 hours away, you may contact me about a "Meet Me Half Way" to get your puppy. My price for this delivery service will start at $100 and then I will add .50 cents per mile for anything over 50 miles. This option is also dependent on what is going on in my life as well as with my dogs.

Yes! Underfoot Kennels will ship puppies

  who are big and strong enough to make the trip, If I Think they are able to make the flight, and I think they have the personality to accept and recover from the stress of being shipped by the "Airline of MY Choice". I prefer to use airlines who keep the puppies in the cabin and have special shipping policies for pets. So far, the top airlines on my list include Alaska / Horizon and Continental. They have wonderful "Safe Pet" transportation policies, and I have never had any problems when shipping a puppy when using either of these airlines. If either of these airlines does not meet our shipping needs, we can research other airlines shipping schedules and policies on an individule bases. The fee for shipping a puppy will be the cost of the vet bill to get the health certificate required for your area, plus the cost of the ticket for the pup, plus the cost of my gas to get your puppy to the airport with parking.
 
     

In the past,

  shipping by airlines has cost from $250 to $400 depending on your location. I will not use Delta Airlines... they ship animals as "Cargo" and they travel in the baggage compartment. I had a dog shipped to me using Delta and the crate was crushed. They never responded to my complaints or my inquiries. The Chihuahua was seen by a vet immediately and checked out "OK" with the exception of being in shock and emotional stress. I will never use Delta Airlines Again!

So what if Underfoot Kennels says my pup should not be shipped?

  If you are approved for a puppy I think is ready for his or her new home but, I say I don't think the puppy should be shipped, and you still want that exact puppy . . . One of us will have to "Fly With The Puppy." For this option I will either meet you at the Seattle / Tacoma (SEATAC) International Airport located in Seattle Washington for a $100 fee, or I will fly out to the International Airport nearest you for a fee that includes all of my expenses. I will fly with the most appropriate airline who will allow me to take the puppy on as a "Carry On" type Baggage which will fit under the seat.
 
     This is the most complicated method of getting a puppy from one place to another but, is the only way I will consider transporting a puppy who: is exceptionally small, is too young to fly alone, has a nervous or very timid personality, or has had a "sugar crash" ever in it's life.

Shipping Policy for Outside the United States

 
     

Underfoot Kennels has NO experience

  shipping anything outside the United States. We will not ship a puppy who will have to go through any type of Quarantine Waiting Period. It is my opinion, the time spent for travel within the American Continent and the Surrounding Islands, is the extent of what should be asked of any puppy. Any time spent in quarantine would only add undue stress, and this process would compromise the health of the puppy, perhaps even ending in death, or at least a neurotic puppy. Underfoot Kennels will not ship to Hawaii because of the strict quarantine in effect there. We MAY ship a puppy to Canada or Mexico but, claim no experience, or knowledge of the practices related to animal shipping outside the US.
